Georeferencing · Autoware

Georeferenced point clouds, ready for Autoware localization.

Autoware relies on georeferenced point cloud maps in WGS84 for GNSS-aided localization. LidarFlow uses FlexCloud (TUM FTM's open-source georeferencing engine) to align any SLAM map to real-world coordinates, then exports straight to Autoware format.

FlexCloud alignment

Snap a SLAM map to WGS84 using GNSS control points. Powered by FlexCloud from TUM FTM.

In-browser QA

A 2D QA map and a 3D georeferenced preview let you check alignment visually before downloading anything.

Control-point residuals

See exactly how well each point aligns. Exclude bad control points and re-run without leaving the browser.

Direct Autoware export

The output is usable in Autoware's LiDAR localization stack (NDT, MCL) and HD-map workflows with no extra conversion step.
